More than one hundred years behind the present time, Victorian England was a wonderful place to be. Fashion, people, and travel, all at your every whim. Ornate, extravagant houses lined the streets. Even the apartments somehow managed not to become an eyesore on the busy streets of London.

Yet somewhere, away from the busy lives of the humans, the stray dogs of Victorian London reigned supreme, in their own hierarchy. Abandoned castles dotted the countryside; It seemed only fitting that a pure line of dogs should claim one as their own and rule the rest of the canines of England in a monarchy. And why shouldn't they? There was no order in this high-speed world of change and crime. And so there was peace in the dog world of London for many a decade.

Until now, in the peak of Victorian society. The new heir to the canine throne is disliked by all who have fallen under his rule. His queen is no help; She simply decides to sit back and watch the fun. Of course, no one would dare speak against the royal family. Or would they? There has been a rumor spreading throughout London that a resistance is forming, and slowly gaining power to throw over the monarchs.

In the castle, only those most loyal are allowed within. Any and all saboteurs are captured, tortured, and brutally executed. The simple city dogs are afraid of what will happen if there is a rebellion. If the resistance wins, peace will be restored and the dogs of London will again be happy. If the royal line wins, however, anyone known to be associated with the resistance will be killed without mercy.
